Abstract
This article examines the comes about of ponders on the impacts of chitosan, omega 3 and CHI as delivery system in water on serum analysis, growth performance. 80 healthy unsexed one-day-old Cobb chicks were divided into 4 groups, were; group1 (control), group2 (chitosan), group3 (Omega3) and group 4 (Omega3 carried on chitosan as delivery system). The results revealed that, chitosan, Omega3 and Omega3 carried on chitosan as delivery system treatment highly increased in the final body weight gain, but the best was the group of combination of CHI+ omega 3. Additionally, None of the applied treatments altered the liver or kidney function. Chicken supplemented with CHI, omega 3 and omega 3 carried on chitosan showed significant (P<0.05) reduction in serum AST and ALT and kidney function at 21 and 35 days. Also, our results showed significant (P<0.05) reduction in serum TG, cholesterol and LDL levels in supplemented groups when compared to the control group. On other hand, HDL revealed significant (P<0.05) increase. CHI as a prebiotic, omega 3 and omega 3 carried on chitosan can be considered as a natural safe additive with prominent growth promotion activity in broiler and with no hepato-renotoxic effects.
